He laid the foundation of Maharana Pratap Education Society, with the aim of creating social awareness and imparting quality education at all levels - from primary education to professional expertise. Shailendra Bhadauria's mindset was always inclined towards the educational realm. He recalls, "I keenly observed the paradigm shift in the relevance of knowledge in all spheres. There was a need to acknowledge this and equip ourselves to move with the changing times. The fact that there was no private engineering college or institute in Kanpur, the city saw a mass exodus of students who flocked to the other states like Karnataka and Maharashtra to pursue higher education. There was no dearth of talent and potential in students but it was important to tap and utilize this potential to the fullest".
